Aṣṭamaṅgala: Crash Course on Traditional Newari Paintings ( Paubha Art )

Join us for a captivating 10-day of workshop focused on traditional Newari Paubha painting, emphasizing the Asta Mangal symbols. This course, guided by the renowned artist Lok Chitrakar, offers an immersive experience for art enthusiasts, but will also welcomes aspiring artists who wish to delve deeper into the rich world of Newari art, which is a significant part of Nepal’s cultural heritage.

Moreover, the first semester of the workshop is priced at NPR 11,000, which covers all materials and registration fees. For those continuing into the second semester, the registration fee will be reduced. However, the third and fourth semesters will require additional costs for materials, as we use mineral and natural paint colors to create an authentic painting experience.
